Our Process
Bringing warmth and vitality to your outdoor space through custom, vibrant, show stopping container gardens.
Step 1. Plan
We begin with a free in-person consultation to learn about your unique growing conditions and preferences. Once we have a clear idea of the scope of your project and your overall aesthetic, we will provide you with an estimate and a planting timeframe. If you have a special event, please let us know! Below are the seasonal planting timeframes for our region. While there might be some fluctuations in weather, generally we only plant during these times.
Spring Planters: mid-April to late-April
Summer Planters: mid-May to mid-June
Fall Planters: mid-September to mid-October
Premium Winter Planters*: Thanksgiving to early December
*Winter greens and branches must be pre-ordered from suppliers in August. We’ll send out a request for orders at that time.
Step 2. Design
This is where we shine! When designing your custom planters we consider scale, complementing colors, variation of texture and growing conditions to create a show-stopping visual impact unique to your outdoor setting. If needed, we can help you source containers that fit into your space, coordinate with architectural elements and enhance the overall health and look of your plants. Step 3. Install and Delivery
Leave the dirty work to us! From procuring the healthiest plants from local growers to using premium potting soil, compost and drainage techniques, we take the guesswork out of creating thriving, show-stopping container gardens. All plants are delivered to and installed at your home or business.
Step 4. Maintain
Not only does a regular maintenance program keep your plants looking healthy and beautiful throughout the season, it can also help us identify and treat common issues before they lead to more serious problems, which can damage your plants. Our maintenance includes pruning, fertilizing, staking, deep watering, pest and plant health monitoring and treatment. We provide biweekly and monthly maintenance only during the summer months.
Important: Maintenance is not a substitute for regular watering. Watering instructions can be found here.
